There are a lot of choices to go through as I try to explore all the options, I dont want to risk spending hours doing all that (since you can't save whenever you want, it only auto saves at predefined points and the bug was a ways after the latest save) to have the game bug again and stop. I'm not interested in restarting without knowing the issue has been fixed. I opened up a case with square enix and eventually got below response. Other people had the problem on steam forums and never found a solution themselves. however I enountered a bug during episode 3 that was a game blocker, while in the diner trying to convince a guy to give me something. If you have $15 to spare, get this game so the developers keep making amazing stuff. If you like story based games, get this game. If you like games that are based on exploration and character development, get this game. I've been addicted to the soundtrack for the last two weeks. I laughed, I cried, I raved to my girlfriend about it for two hours until she left the room.
The time traveling mechanic is neat and provides a lot of room for exploration and messing around without it being too serious- but, the story itself filled my heart with a shiny, fuzzy glow and then ripped it out, over and over again.
I was genuinely shocked by some of the surprises in the story. I got emotionally attached to way too many fictional characters. I spent hours exploring the game, getting to know the characters and allowing myself to get sucked into the world of Arcadia Bay as the mystery unfolded.
